Self-care isn’t always a spa day or a face mask. Sometimes, it’s canceling plans without guilt. It’s saying no. It’s setting boundaries. It’s getting out of bed when it’s hard. Or staying in bed when that’s what you need.
For those living with Lupus or mental health conditions, self-care is survival.
Try:
Journaling your feelings
Drinking water and eating nourishing food
Asking for help
Practicing mindfulness or prayer
Going to therapy or support groups
You are allowed to take up space, rest, and protect your peace.
