ABOUT HILDA WILLIAMS

Hilda Williams is a multi-genre storyteller and children’s book author whose writing is deeply inspired by faith, family, and everyday life. Born and raised in the close-knit town of Goodwater, Alabama, Hilda’s storytelling roots were shaped by community, tradition, and the importance of shared memories.

Her journey later led her to Columbia, South Carolina, before settling in Wellford, South Carolina, where she lives with her husband of 13 years, James Williams Sr. A proud mother, stepmother, and grandmother, Hilda finds much of her inspiration in the joy, curiosity, and honesty of children—especially her grandchildren.

While she has written across multiple genres, Hilda is especially known for her children’s short stories and ebooks, many of which are available on Amazon, Audible, and iTunes. Her work is guided by a simple belief: stories should entertain, teach, and leave readers feeling seen.

Beyond writing, Hilda brings over a decade of experience in retail management and online entrepreneurship, having built a successful sports merchandise business alongside her daughters. When she isn’t writing, she enjoys fishing, sewing, spending time with family, and caring for her beloved Rottweilers, Miracle and Jroc.

Grounded in faith and family, Hilda believes that family comes first—right after her unwavering commitment to God. Through her stories, she hopes to create messages that live on, connecting today’s readers with tomorrow’s memories.

While many of my books are written for children, my storytelling spans multiple genres and age groups—each shaped by heart, imagination, and real-life inspiration.
